Roasting really brings out the natural sweetness of fresh green beans in this recipe.

It's really important to use sea salt for these green beans. The sea salt combined with the way the beans caramelize through the roasting process makes these green beans taste almost like french fries.

Roasted Green Beans

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Toss green beans with olive oil and sea salt. Spread out in a single layer on a flat cast iron pan, such as the Mario Batali pizza pan, or a jelly roll pan. Roast 10 minutes. Turn green beans over. Roast another 10 minutes or until green beans are browned.
